Patriots' Rex Burkhead (ribs) remained out of practice on Thursday
New England Patriots running back Rex Burkhead did not practice on Thursday, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.
Burkhead has now missed two straight practices with a rib injury he suffered in Sunday's contest, putting his Week 3 availability in question for New England. If he can't make a go of it this week, James White will be in line for more work as Dion Lewis sees a few snaps in passing downs.
In his niche role, Burkhead is projected for 5.4 touches, 26.7 total yards and 0.23 touchdowns at a price of $5,400 this week.
