Mark Ingram projected to lead Saints backfield in Week 3
New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram is projected for 8.5 rushes, 36.4 yards and 0.34 touchdowns for this week's road game against the Carolina Panthers.
Through two weeks, Ingram has led the Saints' crowded running back group with 62 snaps, or roughly 48.82% of possible offensive snaps. Because of that, Ingram has been the most steady and productive of the three. Despite poor game scripts, the veteran has totaled 147 yards on 23 touches while averaging 9.6 FanDuel points per game.
Pitted against a Panthers team that ranks 1st against the run, by our metrics, Ingram is projected for 10.3 FanDuel points at a deflated price of $5,800 this week.
