Ravens' Terrance West (thigh) not participating in Wednesday's practice

Baltimore Ravens running back Terrance West is not practicing on Wednesday, according to the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec.

What It Means:

West exited Wednesday's game with a soft-tissue injury. Before doing so, he ran for 22 yards and a touchdown on eight carries and 15 snaps. But, after all was said and done, he may have lost the Ravens' primary back spot to Buck Allen. On 43 snaps, Allen ran for 66 yards on 14 attempts while tallying another 35 yards and a score on five catches. If West's out, Allen would become that much more appealing in fantasy circles.

Assuming West takes the field, we project him for 43.8 yards and 0.21 touchdowns on 9.2 total touches for this week's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
