Giants' Orleans Darkwa could take work from Paul Perkins in Week 3
New York Giants running back Orleans Darkwa may be featured over Paul Perkins in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles, believes ESPN Giants reporter Jordan Raanan.
What It Means:
"This might actually be the week Darkwa gets featured," Raanan writes. After an 0-2 start to the season, the Giants are considering making some changes to get the offense going, and that could mean Perkins falling behind Darkwa on the depth chart. Perkins is averaging 1.9 yards on 14 carries this season, compared to 5.2 (6 attempts) for Darkwa. It would make sense for the Giants to give the former undrafted free agent more opportunity.
