Bengals' Tyler Boyd unsure why he was inactive in Week 2
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd said, "I haven't gotten a specific answer" when asked about why he was a healthy scratch in Week 2.
Boyd suspected that the team needed more special teams players, but he's still uncertain about the reason for the move. Maybe it had something to do with John Ross' activation or maybe Boyd fell into the doghouse one way or another. There's a chance that he will return to the starting lineup with the change at offensive coordinator.
In his lone start this season, Boyd caught just 1-of-4 targets for 11 yards against the Baltimore Ravens. As of right now, we project him for 3.2 targets, 1.9 catches and 22.3 yards in Week 3, as part of 28.3 receptions, 312.7 yards and 1.55 touchdowns for the remainder of the year.
