Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett (ankle) is 'getting closer' to returning to practice, according to head coach Hue Jackson.
Garrett sprained his ankle in practice prior to the season-opening game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers and has yet to practice since. While it is doubtful the number-one overall pick will play in Week 3, coach Jackson has yet to rule him out.
Through two games, the Browns defense has allowed the 15th-most yards per game with 313.5. They gave up 392.4 yards per game in 2016.
