Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford's knee injury is a bone bruise, reports NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Pellisero says the Vikings are waiting to see how Bradford's knee responds to a pain-killing injection before making any decisions. He's tentatively expected to play in Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Case Keenum started for Minnesota in Sunday's 26-9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Entering Week 2, Bradford led all NFL quarterbacks with 0.72 Passing Net Expected Points per attempt.
