What It Means:
This explains why Buck Allen saw so much more work and playing time than West in Sunday's victory over the Cleveland Browns. Assuming he plays against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3, it's unclear what West's role will be now that his health is in question and Allen has emerged as a significant part of the Ravens' offense. Updates will be provided throughout the week.
West led the Ravens with 0.61 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) in Week 2, per numberFire Live, meaning a league average running back would have scored 0.61 fewer points than he did if put in similar situations.
