Devonta Freeman scores twice in Falcons' Week 2 win

Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman ran 19 times for 84 yards and two touchdowns in the team's 34-23 Week 2 victory over the Green Bay Packers, adding two receptions for an additional 16 yards.

What It Means:

Freeman played 17 more snaps than Tevin Coleman, and also received 13 more carries. It's encouraging usage, but it may have just been game flow related. It was Freeman who was milking the clock in the fourth quarter. Through two weeks it appears the Falcons plan to once again utilize both their running backs. Both backs will be fantasy relevant when the Falcons take on the Detroit Lions in Week 3.

Freeman finished Week 2 with 23 FanDuel points and 3.04 Rushing Net Expected Points, per numberFire live.
