Drew Brees off the mark in Saints' loss to Patriots
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees completed just 27-of-45 passes for 356 yards and 2 touchdowns in Week 2's 36-20 loss to the New England Patriots.
Brees and the Saints were playing from behind most of the game, skewing the New Orleans' offensive attack heavily towards the pass. He was able to generate 425 yards of offense for New Orleans and salvaged his fantasy day with a late score. Expect plenty of volume for Brees this season, if the Saints' D continues to struggle.
Brees finished Week 2 with 22.2 FanDuel points and 12.46 Passing Net Expected Points, per numberFire live.
