Rams' Aaron Donald to start on Sunday

Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald will start Sunday against the Washington Redskins, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.

What It Means:

Head coach Sean McVay said that Donald will start in his return from an offseason holdout. There hasn't been any word on how many snaps he will play but defensive coordinator Wade Phillips did suggest that he could be on a "pitch count" of sorts come Sunday. Rumors have it that Donald has been impressive in the three practices he's participated in.

Last season, Donald totaled 47 tackles, 8 sacks and 2 forced fumbles as the standout of the Rams defense. Against a Redskins team that allowed 4 sacks for a loss of 40 yards a week ago, Donald is projected for 3.0 tackles, 0.4 sacks and 0.08 forced fumbles in the matchup.
