Danny Amendola (concussion, knee) misses Patriots' practice again
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola (concussion, knee) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.
At this point, it would be a shocker if Amendola suits up against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2. Mike Giardi of CSN New England believes Rex Burkhead is a "logical choice" to see snaps at slot receiver with Amendola out. Chris Hogan should also benefit in a prime matchup.
If he winds up beating the odds on Sunday, numberFire's models project Amendola to see 3.6 targets and turn them into 2.6 receptions, 33.7 yards and 0.29 touchdowns for 6.4 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,100. He is the WR63 in our weekly fantasy rankings.
