John Ross (knee) considered a 'long shot' for Bengals on Thursday night
Cincinnati Bengals rookie wide receiver John Ross (knee, questionable) is a "long shot" to play against the Houston Texans in Week 2, says beat writer Jim Owczarski.
Ross was a full practice participant this week, but as Owczarski points out, there was "no real practice" as the Bengals held walk-throughs without any contact or pads in preparation for Thursday Night Football. If he beats the odds and plays, the 9th-overall pick from this year's draft will likely be limited in his NFL debut.
If active for Week 2, numberFire's models project Ross to score 3.9 FanDuel points at a cost of $4,900 with 2.1 catches for 23.3 yards and 0.08 touchdowns. He's the WR89 in our weekly fantasy rankings.
