Buccaneers' Jameis Winston embracing circumstances heading into season debut
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston is embracing the fact that his team will have to play 16 straight regular season games this season.
In case you missed it, the Buccaneers' opener against the Miami Dolphins was postponed to Week 11 due to Hurricane Irma. That means that Tampa Bay will play 16 straight games without a bye week during that time, but Winston said that the "five days off" were "a blessing in disguise." After so much time away, though, the Buccaneers have to be anxious to kick off their season on Sunday.
When the Buccaneers open up their season against the Chicago Bears, our models project Winston to throw for 258.6 yards and 1.88 touchdowns while racking up 18.6 FanDuel points at $7,800. He's the 8th-best quarterback play on the board, according to our numbers.
