Dan Quinn: Julio Jones could have done more for Falcons in opener
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones could have had a bigger performance in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears, believes head coach Dan Quinn.
“I thought we could have had some [more],†Quinn said. “Maybe [even] an opportunity or two for some big ones to him. It’s something he’ll never say because that’s the type of teammate he is but yeah we thought maybe there was a few more opportunities for him in the game." Jones caught 4-of-5 targets for 66 yards versus the Bears, finishing with less targets than both Mohamed Sanu (9) and Tevin Coleman (6). Look for the Falcons' star receiver to be more of a focal point of the offense in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers.
Jones is our 2nd-highest ranked fantasy receiver for Week 2, and we project him to score 15.5 FanDuel points at a cost of $8,800 while catching 5.7 passes for 83.9 yards and 0.72 touchdowns against the Packers.
