Chris Johnson officially re-signs with Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals re-signed running back Chris Johnson.
This was the expected move after it was confirmed on Tuesday that David Johnson will be out at least the next 2-3 months while recovering from wrist surgery. He's worth a speculative add in deeper formats, but the 32-year-old (September 23) is unlikely to carve out much value in Arizona's backfield with Kerwynn Williams and Andre Ellington both expected to see touches. This isn't an appealing situation for fantasy owners or Cardinals fans.
Johnson rushed 25 times for 95 yards (3.8 yards per carry) with 1 touchdown in four games for the Cardinals last season.
