C.J. Anderson receives 20 carries in Broncos' win
Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson recorded 81 yards on 20 carries on Monday in the Broncos' 24-21 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Anderson was the bell-cow of the Broncos' offense and looked good during his time on the field. Jamaal Charles also got 10 carries for 40 yards in his Broncos debut, but he lost a fumble. Anderson will remain a solid fantasy option going forward as the lead back for Denver.
Anderson racked up 9.3 FanDuel points in Week 1, slightly less than the 8.9 we projected him for. He is our 16th-ranked fantasy running back for Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, with a projection of 54.3 rushing yards on 12.6 carries and 0.29 touchdowns on the ground, to go with 18.3 receiving yards and 2.4 catches. That's good for a projection of 10.5 FanDuel points.
