Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson (ankle) was limited in Monday's practice.
Watson hurt his ankle on Sunday and was seen limping after the game. However, putting in a limited session on Monday looks good for his chances to compete to start Week 2 on Thursday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said he had not committed to a Week 2 quarterback yet, but earlier reports say it could be Watson.
After coming in for Savage in Week 1, Watson posted 12-of-23 passing for 102 yards to go along with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. He added two rushes for 16 yards as well. His day was good for -16.54 Passing Net Expected Points, per numberFire live.
