Bills not backing off LeSean McCoy's workload
Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Rick Dennison indicated he has no plans to back off running back LeSean McCoy's workload in an effort to keep his feature running back healthy over the season.
Dennison added that he "wasn't counting," when asked if he knew how many touches McCoy got in Week 1. After touching the ball 27 times, McCoy's short term fantasy outlook is great if he keeps getting the ball like that. Long-term is the question mark for his durability handling that workload every week over 16 games.
McCoy produced 110 yards on the ground, to go with 5 receptions for 49 yards through the air in Week 1. His Rushing Net Expected Points was just -1.41, but be posted 18.4 FanDuel points, which outperformed his numberFire projection of 15.1.
