Sammy Watkins posts 58 yards in Rams debut

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Sammy Watkins caught all five of his targets for 58 yards in the team's Week 1 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

What It Means:

Watkins wasn't needed much in the second half with the Rams possessing such a big lead. So while the box score numbers may not have been there, Watkins looked to have some real chemistry with quarterback Jared Goff. It remains to be seen if the Los Angeles offense has improved all that much, or if they were just taking advantage of a terrible Colts defense. We'll find out a lot more when Watkins squares off with Josh Norman and the Washington Redskins in Week 2.

Watkins finished Week 1 with 8.3 FanDuel points and +4.78 total net expected points, per numberFire live.
