Brian Cushing the latest Texan to be ruled out with a concussion
Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing is done for the day in Week 1 after being diagnosed with a concussion.
Cushing joins receiver Bruce Ellington and tight ends Ryan Griffin and C.J. Fiedorowicz on the sidelines with a concussion versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. With Houston having a short week, they are playing on Thursday versus the Cincinnati Bengals; they may be without a few players in Week 2.
After ranking first in total yards allowed in 2016, the Texans struggled against the Jaguars, allowing over 150 rushing yards in Week 1.
