Eagles' Ronald Darby carted off with an ankle injury
Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Ronald Darby was carted off with an ankle injury Week 1 against the Washington Redskins.
The recently acquired Darby hurt his ankle in non-contact fashion, never a good sign. On initial look, it appears to be a broken ankle or a severe sprain at the minimum. Expect more details after an x-ray is taken, but the injury appears to be a season-ender.
The loss of Darby is a huge blow to the Eagles defense, who our algorithms gave the second best defensive pass rating of -8.59 for the season.
