Chiefs' Eric Berry (achilles) carted off on Thursday
Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Eric Berry (Achilles) was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of Thursday's game against the New England Patriots.
Berry went down with a non-contact injury and was unable to stand on his own, forcing the trainers to call over the cart. Early reports are that it was an Achilles injury, likely signalling the end of Berry's season just as it had started. Expect official word on Friday.
Berry racked up 7 tackles (4 solo) including 1 tackle for a loss. His loss is a tough blow for the Chiefs, who our models ranked as the 4th-best pass defense with a 14.34 pass defense rating.
