Chargers' Mike Williams not running routes 'full speed'
Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Mike Williams (back) has resumed catching passes, but isn't running routes "full speed."
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reported last month that Williams is targeting an October return, which puts him in line to debut sometime around Week 4 or 5. The Chargers selected the Clemson product with the 7th overall pick in this year's draft, but he's unlikely to play a large role during his rookie season after missing all of the offseason program and training camp.
Based on his current timetable, numberFire's models project Williams for 33.1 catches, 400.0 receiving yards, and 2.48 touchdowns during his rookie campaign. He's the 84th-ranked wide receiver in our season-long fantasy rankings.
