Falcons, Mohamed Sanu ready to put collapse behind them
The Atlanta Falcons and Mohamed Sanu get their season started in a Week 1 matchup against a Chicago Bears' defense that allowed 24.9 points per game in 2016.
Sanu carved out a nice niche for himself in his first year playing with Matt Ryan and Julio Jones. The Falcons still boast one of the league's best offenses and Sanu, who hauled in 59 receptions for 653 yards in 2016, should have his days again this season. Even though the Bears defense wasn't all that impressive in '16, they allowed the 7th-fewest passing yards per game last year. Still, this is a decent matchup for the New Jersey native.
Our models rank Sanu as the 48th-best receiver in Week 1 with 3.6 receptions, 40.8 yards and 0.3 touchdowns. We predict him for 7.8 FanDuel points at $4,800 on Sunday.
