Dwayne Allen's first season with Patriots starts on Thursday night
New England Patriots tight end Dwayne Allen is second on the depth chart ahead of Thursday night's Week 1 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs.
What It Means:
Allen was paired with a sixth-round pick and acquired from the Indianapolis Colts this offseason in March. As long as Rob Gronkowski is healthy, the 2012 third-round pick likely won't be much more than an occasional streaming option for fantasy owners this season.
