Eagles' Alshon Jeffery expected to go toe-to-toe with Redskins' Josh Norman in Week 1
Philadelphia Eagles' wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is preparing for a showdown with Washington Redskins' CB Josh Norman in Week 1.
Jeffery's first game in the green and white will provide an earnest challenge as head coach Doug Pederson the team is expecting Norman to shadow Alshon Jeffery in Week 1. Even with Norman in the fold, Washington allowed 7.4 yard per pass attempt and 22 passing TDs in 2016. The Eagles have an implied total of 21.34 points this week.
numberFire's models predict Jeffery will score the 15th-most points of all wideouts in Week 1. We peg him for 11.7 FanDuel points with 4.2 receptions, 65.9 receiving yards and 0.5 touchdowns in the opener.
