New York Jets wide receiver Jermaine Kearse is expected to start Sunday's road game against the Buffalo Bills.
The Jets added Kearse via a trade with the Seattle Seahawks on Friday. Obviously, he's still learning the system but the Jets are bringing him up to speed in anticipation of him being a big part of the offense in Week 1. Kearse's presence could take away from either Ardarius Stewart or Robby Anderson on the outside though he adds to a very short list of offensive weapons in New York.
In his Jets debut, our models project Kearse for 2.8 catches, 38.7 yards and 0.2 touchdowns on 5.6 targets in Week 1 against the Bills. At $5,100, his projected output of 6.5 FanDuel points trail only Anderson among Jets wideouts.
