Andrew Luck (shoulder) ruled out for Colts Week 1

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has been ruled out for Week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams, general manager Chris Ballard announced.

What It Means:

Ballard said there's still no timetable for Luck's return and that he's in the "training phase." He was removed from the PUP list, which suggests the Colts believe their franchise quarterback will return before Week 7, but many are under the impression he will miss more than one game. Scott Tolzien will start versus the Rams and Luck's absence means a significant downgrade for the fantasy outlooks of all Colts' skill-players.

Without having a clear sense of when he will be available, numberFire's models currently project Luck to finish the year as the QB21 in fantasy football. We have him pegged for 3,126.7 yards with 24.05 touchdowns and 11.0 interceptions while adding 254.5 yards and 2.28 touchdowns on the ground.
