The Chicago Bears have waived backup running back Jeremy Langford.
A dramtic fall for Langford, who was Chicago' starting running back just one year ago. The third-year back fell behind Tarik Cohen and Benny Cunningham in the competition to serve as the number two running back behind Jordan Howard as he fought through injuries this preseason. A former fourth-round pick from Michigan State, Langford will likely find a new home quickly in the next few days.
Our models projected Langford for 177.8 rushing yards and 0.5 touchdowns in 2017 after racking up 342 total yards in 2016.
