Chiefs' Dontari Poe (back) practicing Wednesday
Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Dontari Poe (back) returned to practice Wednesday.
Poe has made a quick recovery from back surgery, and he still has a chance to play Week 1 against the Houston Texans. It would hurt Alfred Blue's value for the season opener if Poe plays Sunday.
The Chiefs ranked 18th in our schedule-adjusted Defense Net Expected Points metric last season. Our algorithms project Poe to finish the year with 56 tackles and 6.5 sacks. We place the Chiefs as our 10th-ranked fantasy defense for this season.
