Lions' Ziggy Ansah expected to be ready for Week 1
Detroit Lions defensive End Ziggy Ansah (ankle) is still expected to be ready to go for Week 1's meeting with the Arizona Cardinals.
Ansah has been on the PUP through training camp after suffering a high-ankle sprain in 2016, but the team has been insistent all month that he will be ready to go in time for the start of the regular season, and that plan has not changed.
numberFire's models project Ansah for 46.5 tackles, 6.2 sacks, 2.6 pass defenses, 1.0 forced fumbles and 1.3 fumble recoveries this season.
