Paxton Lynch out for Broncos with shoulder sprain

Denver Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch has been diagnosed with a shoulder sprain that will keep him out "at least a few weeks," reports Mike Klis of 9 News Denver.

What It Means:

Klis says the Broncos are "exploring options" under center, so it sounds like Lynch will open the season on the shelf. Kyle Sloter is the only healthy backup currently on Denver's roster, as Trevor Siemian is locked in as the starter for Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

numberFire's models rank Siemian 30th among fantasy quarterbacks entering the year. He's expected to complete 308.0-of-519.4 (59.3 percent) passes for 3,306.0 yards with 18.96 touchdowns and 14.3 interceptions in 2017.
