Andrew Luck

Andrew Luck (shoulder) not expected to play for Colts Week 1

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (shoulder) will miss Week 1 "barring a somewhat-miraculous turn of events," according to Zak Keefer of The Indianapolis Star.

What It Means:

Luck hasn't practiced with the team since last season, so even if he's activated off the PUP list within the next few days, it would be a pretty big surprise to see him under center in Week 1 on such limited prep. At this point, Luck seems 50/50 at best to be ready for Week 2. The Colts open the year in Los Angeles against the Rams and then they host the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. Luck's status directly impacts the early-season outlooks of all of Indianapolis' skill-position players.

numberFire's models currently project Luck to finish the year as the 8th-best quarterback in fantasy, with 3,824.6 passing yards, 29.64 touchdowns, and 13.3 interceptions while adding 311.7 yards and 2.87 touchdowns on the ground.
