Bears' Mike Glennon tops 100 yards in third preseason game

Chicago Bears quarterback Mike Glennon completed 11-of-18 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown Sunday in the third preseason game.

What It Means:

He was sacked once for a loss of nine yards. Glennon was money on the Bears’ opening possession, going 7-of-9 for 84 yards and capping the drive with a one-yard touchdown strike to tight end Dion Sims. He wasn’t as impressive the rest of the half. Glennon probably did enough to hold off Mitchell Trubisky for the starting job, but any fantasy value he had takes a major hit with wide receiver Cameron Meredith (knee) out for the season.

The Bears' passing game was already projected to be stagnant in 2017, with our models pegging Glennon for 3,362 passing yards, 24.54 touchdowns, and 10.69 interceptions on 445 attempts this year prior to Meredith's injury.
