Vikings' Kai Forbath remains locked in a battle for kicking job
Minnesota Vikings kicker Kai Forbath remains locked in a battle with Marshall Koehn for the kicking job, per the Minnesota Star Tribune.
The veteran Forbath is deemed the favorite to keep the job, but Koehn has the stronger leg of the two and has connected on his only field goal attempt so far this preseason. The Vikings' coaching staff expects to go through all four preseason games with both kickers and make a decision before final cut down day on September 2.
Our models project Forbath to go 24.5-of-28.0 on field goal attempts while connecting on 35.3 extra points, making him our 22nd-ranked fantasy kicker with 119.6 fantasy points.
