Former Carolina Panther on Devin Funchess: 'There's no dog in this guy'
Former Carolina Panthers linebacker and 8-year NFL veteran Omar Gaither said of wide receiver Devin Funchess, "There's no dog in this guy," while on WFNZ Radio in Charlotte today.
What It Means:
In the Panthers' second preseason game against the Titans over the weekend, Funchess fumbled on Carolina’s first offensive play of the game. It was his only catch on three targets.
A second-round pick in 2015, Funchess is still the starter opposite Kelvin Benjamin in Carolina, but he's just our 93rd-ranked wide receiver for fantasy football in 2017.
