Dwayne Allen's adjustment to Patriots was "extremely hard"

New England Patriots tight end Dwayne Allen said that the adjustment to his new team was "extremely hard."

What It Means:

After adding the 27-year-old via trade this offseason, Allen struggled with drops in OTAs and minicamp, but he has since turned it around in training camp. He has looked solid in both pass-catching and blocking yet he's still unsure of where he stands in his comprehension of the offense. Either way, he'll be asked to do a lot of blocking with Rob Gronkowski getting most of the catching work from the tight end spot.

As the Patriots' number two tight end, we expect Allen to return 25.8 catches, 316.2 yards and 2.8 touchdowns for his 13th round draft price. He's TE31 in our current pre-draft rankings.
