Ravens' Danny Woodhead sidelined with hamstring injury
Baltimore Ravens running back Danny Woodhead has missed all of practice this week while dealing with a hamstring injury.
The injury is serious enough that it could force Woodhead to miss the rest of the preseason, according to the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec. The hope is that he's healthy for Week 1, when he'll prove crucial as a safety valve for the ailing Joe Flacco (back) in Baltimore. Terrance West and Buck Allen should see more snaps if Woodhead does, in fact, miss time.
With just 1 rush for 2 yards in the preseason, Woodhead is expected to produce 921.2 total yards and 4.1 touchdowns, according to our algorithms. When healthy, his role in the Ravens' offense makes him RB30 in our fantasy football rankings.
