Eagles' Torrey Smith burns the Dolphins during joint practices
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Torrey Smith impressed the coaching staff with two big plays he made during Monday's joint practice with the Miami Dolphins.
Smith burned Dolphins cornerback Byron Maxwell on a long pass from Carson Wentz and also made a spectacular diving catch in the middle of the field, showing his versatility. While he is still catch-less this preseason, Smith will see extended time, as well as the rest of the starters, in Thursday's third preseason game.
Our models peg Smith as a WR63 with 39.3 catches, 573.8 yards, and 3.3 touchdowns this season.
