Raiders' Derek Carr was 'emotional' in return to Oakland Coliseum on Saturday
Oakland Raiders starting quarterback Derek Carr was overcome with emotion in his first game in front of the home crowd since breaking his right fibula on Christmas Eve 2016. "I'd be lying to you if I said it wasn't emotional," said Carr. "It really was because I was just so thankful."
Carr, who signed a 5-year, $125 million contract extension in June, completed 7 of his 9 passes during Saturday's preseason game against the Rams for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns.
We rank Carr 17th among quarterbacks in our season-long fantasy football projections. According to Fantasy Football Calculator, he's currently being drafted as the 5th quarterback off the board in standard fantasy drafts.
