DeMarco Murray

Titans taking it slow with DeMarco Murray (hamstring)

Tennessee Titans running back DeMarco Murray (hamstring) hasn't played in either of the first two preseason games.

What It Means:

Murray returned to practice last week after missing a little under two weeks with a hamstring issue, but the Titans still decided to hold him out of the second preseason contest this past Saturday. It remains to be seen whether he will participate in Sunday's "dress rehearsal" against the Chicago Bears, but there isn't any concern about his status for Week 1. Per Fantasy Football Calculator, Murray is currently being drafted at the turn between the first and second rounds in standard leagues.

numberFire's rankings have Murray as the fifth-best fantasy running back entering the season. We project him to rush 275.6 times for 1,215.0 yards and 9.82 touchdowns, with another 300.4 receiving yards and 1.64 scores on 41.8 catches.
