Cleveland Browns coach Hue Jackson said that he hopes to name the team's starting quarterback by Wednesday.
Jackson has an idea as to who it will be, but he also said that he would go through tape from last night's preseason game before making a decision. For what it's worth, Brock Osweiler started last night's game as DeShone Kizer and Cody Kessler followed.
Through 2 preseason games, Osweiler has completed 12-of-22 passes for 0 touchdowns and 1 interception. Meanwhile, Kizer has hit 19-of-31 pass attempts for 258 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 rushing score with Kessler going 12-of-17 for just 97 yards, including a lost fumble. Our projections -- 3,271.1 pass yards and 17.88 touchdowns -- still like Kessler to be the team's starter come Week 1.
