Cody Kessler falling behind in Browns' quarterback battle
Cleveland Browns quarterback Cody Kessler completed 7-of-7 passes for 50 yards in limited action on Monday night.
Kessler didn't enter the game until late in the third quarter, behind Brock Osweiler and DeShone Kizer. While he looked good against backups, Kessler did fumble and failed to lead the Browns to any points. The second-year quarterback could be in danger of not making the team's final roster, despite starting eight games in 2016.
Our models still have faith in Kessler as they project him for 3,271.2 passing yards and 17.9 touchdowns in 2017.
