Giants' Wayne Gallman totals 42 yards on Monday night
New York Giants running back Wayne Gallman rushed 5 times for 22 yards and caught 2 passes for 20 yards in Monday's preseason game versus the Cleveland Browns.
Gallman was the fourth back to see action on Monday as Paul Perkins, Orleans Darkwa, and Shane Vereen all saw action before the rookie entered the game in the fourth quarter. While he looked good in action, he did lose the football on a botched handoff from quarterback Geno Smith.
Gallman is projected for just 33.4 carries and 136.1 yards this season, by our models, but could carve out a larger role if Perkins continues to struggle as the Giants' lead back. He is our RB72 in standard leagues.
