Frank Gore could pass Jerome Bettis, Eric Dickerson, LaDainian Tomlinson in career rushing yards this year

Colts running back Frank Gore needs just 620 rushing yards to move into 5th all-time, which would vault him past Hall of Famers Jerome Bettis, Eric Dickerson and LaDainian Tomlinson.

What It Means:

If Gore does indeed move into 5th place in all-time career rushing yards this season, he'll trail only Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders and Curtis Martin. A third-round pick back in 2005, Gore has rushed for at least 600 yards in every season of his 12-year NFL career with the 49ers and Colts.

Even at 34 years old, we project the veteran running back to put up 748.0 yards on 201.8 carries this season for Indianapolis. He's the 21st-ranked running back in our 2017 fantasy football rankings.
