Le'Veon Bell plans to report to the Steelers by Week 1
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell plans to report to the team and sign his franchise tag tender before Week 1, ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms.
Per Schefter, it "remains unclear exactly when." Bell will probably sign and report before the calendar flips to September, but he seems extremely unlikely to see any preseason action. Bell has had long layoffs in the past and hasn't missed a beat when he returns. He's perfectly safe here.
Our models project Bell for 1,390 rushing yards and 9.99 touchdowns on 295 rushing attempts, adding 85 catches for 713 receiving yards and 3.46 touchdowns. He's locked in as the second-best running back for fantasy this year.
