Bears' Mitchell Trubisky knows he has work to do
Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky knows that he has a lot of work to do moving forward.
In his first ever preseason game, the rookie quarterback went 18-for-25 for 166 yards and a touchdown, and looked like the franchise quarterback the Bears need him to be. Still, the 22-year-old said in an interview that while he's pleased with his play he knows that he makes mistakes and that he has to work on those areas. Accordingly, the Bears have been behind Mike Glennon as the team's starter in 2017 (at least for now).
While our algorithms project Trubisky for 468 yards and 2.88 touchdowns, they like Glennon to produce 3,362 yards and 24.54 touchdowns on the year. For more perspective, though, Trubisky is going at the very end of drafts as Glennon is going un-drafted in most.
