Chad Williams not likely to make rookie impact for Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver Chad Williams isn't expected to have an early-season role, according to head coach Bruce Arians.
This has been the trending narrative on Williams after reporting to training camp out of shape. The Cardinals have a shaky depth chart behind veteran Larry Fitzgerald, but Williams hasn't looked close to ready this preseason.
Fitzgerald is the only secure receiver on the depth chart, and our models project him for 1,068 receiving yards and 5.72 touchdowns on 97 catches. We peg him as the 20th-best receiver for fantasy in 2017.
