Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott's appeal likely to take place on August 29
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott's appeal hearing is expected to take place on August 29 according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
While it is good to have a projected date for Elliott's appeal, depending on the results of the hearing, there could be another appeal by either side. For now, it is safe to assume that Elliott will be suspended for the first six games of the season, becoming first eligible to play in Week 8, due to the Cowboys' bye week.
Our models project Elliott for 191.5 carries, 916.5 rushing yards, and 7.34 TDs while adding 31.6 catches, 301.9 yards, and 1.37 TDs through the air. He is our RB11 with 173.4 projected fantasy points in standard leagues if he misses 6 games.
